Veterinary Technician Supervisor

BluePearl Pet Hospital islooking for a Veterinary Technician Supervisor with passion and the ability to help motivate, engage, and train a team of veterinary professionals.

Schedule: 4 X 10 Hour shift. Flexibility is required. Day Shift and or Mid-Shift Available

Pay: $28.00 - $45.00 / hour

We also offer competitive shift differential pay for eligible hours worked for nights and weekends. For example:

• Mon – Fri: 6pm to 8am = $3.50 Shift Differential

• Sat & Sun: 6pm to 8am = $5.00 Shift Differential

• Sat & Sun: 8am to 6pm = $3.50 Shift Differential

This pay band is a starting point and is dependent on experience.

As a Veterinary Technician Supervisor, you will… 

• Serve as a mentor to lower-level staff by demonstrating positive work habits, effective clinical skills and business knowledge.  

• Coach team members to be continuously aware and proactive at anticipating and addressing patient and client needs and to seek assistance with escalated, stressful situations.  

• Works with hospital leadership to organize tech and assistant meetings.  

• Organize training schedules for Technician staff.  

• Identify conflicts in the workplace and seek assistance in resolution. 

• Provide feedback leadership and works to develop performance improvement plans.  

• Other related duties as assigned.
