The Dock Coordinator plays a key operational role supporting both warehouse and administrative functions. This position serves as the primary point of contact for drivers arriving at the facility, coordinates dock assignments, manages inbound/outbound schedules, maintains shipping/receiving documentation, and provides administrative support to ensure efficient and accurate warehouse operations.

Key Responsibilities
Dock & Driver Coordination
Serve as the primary check-in point for all inbound and outbound drivers.
Assign dock doors and communicate load/unload instructions to warehouse staff.
Maintain and update inbound/outbound schedules and records throughout the day.
Coordinate with carriers, brokers, and transportation partners via phone and email.
Shipping, Receiving & Documentation
Review and audit packing slips, BOLs, delivery paperwork, and receiving documents.
Enter accurate data into WMS/IMS systems and ensure records are properly maintained.
Prepare, organize, and distribute invoices, purchase orders, and shipping documents.
Support inventory accuracy by collaborating with the inventory team on discrepancies.
Administrative & Office Operations
Support daily office tasks including answering calls, organizing correspondence, and scheduling as needed.
Communicate with internal teams regarding customer inquiries, service issues, or delivery questions.
Assist with generating daily reporting, schedules, or documentation to support operations.
Ensure smooth communication between warehouse, office, transportation, and customer service teams.
Requirements & Qualifications
Previous experience in a warehouse, dock, or hybrid warehouse/office environment preferred.
Customer service experience is required; must be comfortable interacting with drivers, vendors, and partners.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite or Google Workspace (G-Suite).
Experience with WMS/IMS/TMS software is a plus..
