Job Title: Warehouse Manager

Job Summary and Objectives:
The Warehouse Manager oversees all warehouse operations supporting the telecommunications network, construction teams, and overall business operations. This role is responsible for managing inventory, procurement, shipping and receiving, , and equipment control for multiple job sites and projects. The Warehouse Manager ensures materials are readily available to field crews, maintains accurate records, optimizes warehouse layout and processes, and enforces safety and compliance standards. The position requires strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills to effectively manage warehouse staff, vendors, and interdepartmental coordination.
Essential Job Functions:
- Manage daily operations of the warehouse to ensure timely and accurate distribution of materials, tools, and equipment to field and construction crews.
- Maintain inventory accuracy through monthly cycle counts, reconciliation, and reporting. Work with Controller and external audits to verify year-end inventory counts and research and clear any discrepancies.
- Develop and implement warehouse procedures to improve efficiency, organization, and workflow.
- Oversee the receipt, inspection, and storage of all incoming materials and supplies.
- Verify vendor shipments for accuracy, manage discrepancies, and maintain documentation.
- Supervise warehouse personnel, including hiring, training, performance evaluation, and scheduling.
- Coordinate procurement activities, including obtaining vendor quotes, placing orders, entering purchase orders in the system, and tracking shipments.
- Monitor and manage warehouse budgets, material costs, and inventory turnover.
- Ensure proper handling, labeling, and storage of all materials in compliance with safety standards.
- Manage the company’s tool tracking system and ensure timely repair, calibration, or replacement of equipment.
- Collaborate with Operations Managers and Project Managers to forecast material needs for upcoming projects.
- Maintain compliance with OSHA and company safety requirements; conduct regular safety audits and training.
- Prepare and present monthly operational and inventory reports for management review.
- Lead process improvement initiatives to optimize material flow and reduce operational costs.
- Coordinate seasonal or project-specific warehouse activities as needed.
- Providing excellent customer service by following the company’s customer service standards. Ownership, Professionalism, Troubleshooting, keeping customers informed, and providing customers with an experience beyond their expectations.
Supervisor Responsibilities: This role provides direct supervision to a team of employees, including responsibilities for hiring, performance management, and disciplinary actions. The supervisor will be responsible for training new hires, mentoring team members, and ensuring the team's adherence to company policies and procedures. The supervisor will also be responsible for assigning tasks, setting team goals, and evaluating performance. This position requires strong leadership and communication skills to manage and support the team's success effectively.

Physical and Mental Requirements:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, sit, use hands to handle or feel, reach with hands and arms, climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl, and talk or hear.
- Must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to operate forklifts and other material-handling equipment safely.
- Specific vision abilities include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
Certification/License Requirements:
- Valid Oklahoma driver’s license required.
- Forklift certification required (or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire).
- OSHA 10 or higher certification preferred.
Work Environment:
The work environment includes both indoor warehouse and outdoor yard or job site conditions.
- Frequent exposure to moving mechanical parts, dust, and moderate noise levels.
- Occasional exposure to extreme weather conditions.
- Must adhere to all company safety policies and practices.
Education:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Business, Logistics, or Supply Chain Management preferred.
Experience:
- Minimum 3–5 years of warehouse or logistics experience required.
- At least 2 years in a supervisory or management role preferred.
- Experience in telecommunications, construction, or utility industry strongly preferred.
This position is considered Safety Sensitive under the Oklahoma medical marijuana law.
Other duties may be assigned at the discretion of management based on the needs of the business.
