Key Requirements for Automotive Instructors
- 3+ years of Automotive Technician experience
- ASE certifications (G1, A6 required within first 3 months)
- EPA 609 certification (required within first 3 months)
- High school diploma/GED
- Great communication skills
- Proficient in technology
- OEM or equivalent industry-related training
- Teaching experience is a plus

Key Responsibilities for Automotive Instructors
- Teach and provide hands-on training in Automotive Technology in our fully equipped facility
- Facilitate and effectively deliver Lincoln Tech accredited course curriculum using our Blended Learning Model
- Support and motivate student growth, professionalism, and accountability through advising and mentoring
- Evaluate and communicate progress with students fairly and consistently
- Teach students about the importance of safety and compliance
- Maintain a professional, visitor-ready classroom environment
- Complete Lincoln Instructor Foundational Training (LIFT) program
- Prepare students for a successful career in the field of Automotive Technology
