Description

 The Operations Manager oversees all daily operations of the manufacturing facility, ensuring production efficiency, quality standards, and compliance with safety regulations. This role is responsible for managing staff, optimizing processes, and driving continuous improvement to meet organizational goals 

Requirements

  

Duties & Responsibilities:

Direct and manage operations including production, maintenance, quality, and shipping. Develop and implement strategies to improve productivity and reduce costs.

Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations. Monitor performance metrics and prepare operational reports for senior management.

Lead and mentor operations personnel, fostering a culture of accountability and teamwork.

Drive continuous improvement initiatives and implement lean manufacturing practices.

Manage budgets and control operational expenses. Resolve operational issues promptly to minimize downtime.

Skills & Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, or related field.

Minimum 5 years of experience in plant or manufacturing management.

Strong leadership and decision-making skills. Knowledge of production planning, quality control, and safety standards. Excellent communication and organizational abilities.

Proficiency in ERP systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
