Home Time:

• Local/Regional: Home most every day
  
• OTR: Home every weekend (48 hours)
  

Pay & Benefits:

• Local/Regional: Avg $70,000/year
  
• OTR: $90,000+ 
  
• Mileage Pay: OTR $.59/mile | Regional $.52/mile | Local $23–$25/hr
  
• Extra pay: Live load/unload, dock pay, drop & hook, sweep, double switches

Requirements:

• 1+ year CDL-A experience
  
• Hazmat endorsement (or ability to obtain in 90 days for top pay)
• Clean  driving record" under requirements
• Required age 23 years old" under requirements

Equipment & Routes:

• Modern Freightliner, International, Mack tractors
  
• Mostly automatic; some manual
  
• APUs, ELDs, Drivewyze
• Terminals that provide safe space to take breaks
• Short-haul dry van, mostly drop & hook, lanes in NC, VA, MD, NJ, DE, PA, OH, WV, occasional GA
