To that end, OCES is looking for a dedicated HR Generalist who is primarily responsible for coordination of the full employment lifecycle. They will track all open positions, assist with interviewing, and coordinate the hiring process with the appropriate individuals, including supervisors and managers. They will also be responsible for other administrative duties related to employee onboarding/ongoing support, new hire orientation, and any HR related tasks as assigned.

What you'll do:

  • Drivethe complete recruiting process using applicant tracking system
  • Oversee background check process for all new hires and volunteer staff
  • Coachmanagementoneffectiveinterviewingskillsandselectionprocedures
  • Facilitate/leadnewemployeeorientationandonboarding
  • Fosteremployeeengagement and support employees as needed
  • Monitor Recruitment email daily
  • Coordinate the employee exit interview process
  • Provide guidance to supervisory staff as needed to support HR initiatives
  • Other duties as assigned

What you'll bring:

  • Strong knowledge of employment law and HR best practices
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Solid presentation skills
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software
  • Bachelor's degree in human resources or related field highly preferred
  • 3+yearsofHR/Recruiting experience
  • HR certification preferred
