The Service Porter supports the daily operations of the service department by helping maintain an organized, efficient, and customer-focused environment. Assist with maintaining organized vehicle flow throughout the service drive, parking areas, and dealership property. Support Service Advisors and service department personnel with operational needs throughout the workday. Assist with vehicle staging, customer pick-up preparation, and service lane organization. Help ensure customer vehicles are handled responsibly and professionally at all times. Dealership Appearance & Operations Maintain cleanliness and organization of the service drive, parking areas, customer-facing spaces, and designated dealership areas. Assist with basic vehicle preparation tasks such as fuel checks, vehicle washes, vacuuming, or minor appearance support as assigned. Monitor dealership grounds and notify leadership of safety, cleanliness, or operational concerns. Support dealership events, deliveries, and operational projects as needed. Customer Experience Greet and assist customers professionally when interacting within the service drive or dealership property. Help create a welcoming and organized environment that reflects the organization’s commitment to hospitality and customer care. Provide courteous and professional interactions with customers, vendors, and team members. Professional Standards Maintain a professional appearance, positive attitude, and strong attendance record. Follow all dealership policies related to safety, vehicle handling, and operational procedures. Participate in department meetings, training, and development opportunities as assigned. Previous automotive, customer service, hospitality, or operational support experience preferred; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
