Role Definition

This position is accountable to perform precision skilled maintenance functions on CNC and NC machine tools, such as lathes, mills, precision grinders, and other associated industrial equipment.

This position reports to Maintenance Department Supervisor.

This position does not have any direct reports.

Responsibilities
-Performing and documenting maintenance activities involved in installation, alteration, upgrade, regular inspection & repair.

-Install, maintain, test, troubleshoot and repair electrical/electronic systems, controls, and components of manufacturing machine tools and production equipment.

-Install wiring, conduit, transformers, breakers, switches to supply electrical power to machine tools, facility systems, and facility equipment.

-Preventative maintenance of various types of standard and specialized machinery and equipment, physical building and grounds, and infrastructure to include electrical, plumbing, HVAC, security, and telecommunications.

-Responding to emergency safety and operational concerns.
Inside a climate controlled facility, but could also include outside areas such as exterior grounds, walkways, drives, etc.

-Supports Production, Quality, Shipping, and IT as needed.

Desired Qualifications:

3-5 years’ experience in a similar role

Experience in a manufacturing environment

Ability to support all groups including facilities
CNC experience Preferred

 

 

Summary Pay Range:

$30.75 - $46.13

Compensation and benefits offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, job level, market location, job-related knowledge, skills, individual performance and experience. Please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at Caterpillar.
