Job DetailsJob Location: Adams Land and Cattle, LLC South Lot - Broken Bow, NE 68822Position Type: Full TimeWe have an opportunity for a highly motivated and disciplined individual to assist with all aspects of large-scale production farming near our operation in Broken Bow, Nebraska. Our farming operations includes expansive pivot irrigation and cloud-based control, with latest equipment & technology with prescription control. This person will be responsible for: All aspects of production farming including: planting, herbicide/insecticide application, cultivation, irrigation, harvest and spring and fall tillage. Assisting with all field maintenance and improvement projects. Assisting in the maintenance of machinery and equipment. Accurate information, documentation and quality control of seed corn, herbicide and insecticide applications. Effluent pipeline and pumping record. Skills and qualifications: Previous farming experience. Commitment to safety and quality culture. Ability to use analytical techniques for problem solving, coordination, and decision making. Driven, organized, action-orientated, analytical, and ability to multi-task. High attention to detail. Individual must be team-oriented. Proven professional communication, presentation, persuasion, and customer service skills. QualificationsThis position requires: A valid driver’s license Exerting 50-100 pounds of force occasionally, 25-50 pounds of force frequently and 10-20 pounds of force constantly. Standing, sitting, walking, carrying, and lifting/lowering frequently; pushing/pulling, bending, twisting, climbing, reaching/handling/grasping, and kneeling/crouching occasionally; crawling and stairs rarely. Individual must be able to work in adverse weather conditions.
