Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON)/Staff Development/Infection RN

Position Summary

The Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) plays a vital leadership role in supporting high-quality nursing care for residents while fostering dignity, compassion, and excellence in service. The ADON works closely with the Director of Nursing to ensure clinical standards, regulatory compliance, and resident-centered care are consistently achieved in alignment with the Vetter Senior Living Mission, Vision, and Values.

Professional Qualifications

The Assistant Director of Nursing must meet the following professional requirements:

  • Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (R.N.) in the practicing state and current C.P.R. certification
  • Strong verbal communication skills to effectively interact with residents, families, coworkers, physicians, and visitors
  • Commitment to ongoing professional growth through participation in educational sessions, in-service training, and demonstrations
