SUMMARY:

This position may be responsible for planning and supervising the execution of cost effective and timely maintenance necessary for the operation of all equipment. This includes the following:

Directing, coordinating, and supporting maintenance and refrigeration personnel

Administering PSM program & working with contractors, vendors, or company engineering in the modification or installation of equipment;

Troubleshooting and resolving new and or different technical problems regarding equipment.

Maintaining relevant records and ensuring OSHA standards and programs are implemented

Instructing in the use of personal protective equipment and implementing new ways of improving ergonomics within the facility.

Responsible for coordinating Team Member schedules and handling clocking reports and attendance records and holding monthly safety meetings

Performing all other responsibilities as assigned in refrigeration maintenance.

REQUIREMENTS:

Education: Education beyond high school including special training vocational school and or college courses or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Experience: 3 plus years experience in refrigeration with supervisory/lead experience preferred.

Computer Skills: Basic computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft office suites. 

Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Supervisory: This position is responsible for supervising a group of personnel who perform somewhat identical and related tasks or activities.

Travel: 1 to 5 trips per year.
