Your Role on Our Team:Ā
Our Engineering Team is responsible to develop āBest-In-Classā products and manufacturing solutions with the highest level of quality.Ā TheĀ Engineering TechnicianĀ IIĀ plays a crucial role in providing innovative solutions to some of the most challenging testingĀ requirementsĀ in industry that support our product development teams.Ā TheĀ roleĀ will operate custom test equipment and other systems in support of R&D and NPD activities.Ā The role will ensure testing is reliable, effective, and efficient.Ā

Youāll be DISRUPTIVE through these duties and responsibilities:āÆĀ
Execute tests per work instructions and request procedures.Ā
Prepare reports utilizing a PC with word processing, database, spreadsheet and statistical/graphical softwareĀ
Perform hands-on testing using power tools and accessoriesĀ
Perform preventative equipment maintenance and repairs of test equipmentĀ
Set up and verify the effectiveness of fixtures. Project execution and job progress to completion.Ā
AssistĀ senior technicians in critical and involvedĀ tests orĀ run such tests under supervision.Ā
Agility to work on multiple tasks while maintaining efficiency and organizationĀ
Maintain test equipment in good working order and inĀ calibration.Ā
Propose recommendations to the Accessories Engineering team based off the data collected.Ā
Provide support to the engineering team in the design and build of test fixtures.Ā
Exercise responsibility for thoroughness, timeliness and accuracy in preparing and reviewing technical reports on tests performed.Ā Ā Ā
Follow 5S principles and maintain a clean and organized working environmentĀ
Maintain safe operations by adhering to safety procedures and regulationsĀ
Perform other duties as assignedĀ
Check availability of inventoried materials and tools for testing, submit purchase orders if necessaryĀ
The TOOLS youāll bring with you:Ā
Flexible schedule to support testing outside the normal shift and weekends when neededĀ
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Teams, Excel, PowerPoint)Ā
Ability to work independently is required.Ā
Must have previous experience using power tools.Ā
Knowledge of test concepts in the design and development of products and components is preferred.Ā
Technology relatedĀ associate degreeĀ (Such as Mechanical Engineering Technology, Automation Systems Technology, etc.) or equivalent is required.Ā Ā Ā
One to five years of experience with test equipment, product life / performance test procedures & methods, and mechanical principles are required.Ā Ā
Basic electronics understanding ā AC/DC circuits, motors, sensors, controllers is required.Ā
Understanding of common machine component applications and assembly is preferred.Ā
Experience working with SOMATĀ eDAQĀ andĀ nCodeĀ GlyphworksĀ is preferred, but not required.Ā
Basic machining skills are preferred, but not required.Ā
