Job DetailsJob Location: Corporate Headquarters - Waukesha, WI 53186Position Type: Full TimeTravel Percentage: Up to 10%Job Shift: DayJob Category: QA - Quality ControlSummary Under close direction of quality engineering leadership, the Quality Engineering Specialist directly contributes to calibration, testing and evaluation, and customer feedback activities. The role supports Angelus Corporation's objectives for compliance with customer, regulatory, and internal requirements, maintains quality performance metrics, and drives practical improvements in partnership with Senior Quality Engineers and cross-functional teams. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Non-Conformance & Problem Solving Document, verify, and assess non-conformances from internal sources and customers, including RMAs. Perform containment and sorting of suspect material and lead MRB activities for evaluation and disposition. Initiate and support corrective actions, inform suppliers of non-conformances, and assist with root cause analysis and problem statements. Inspection, Testing & Evaluation Lead day-to-day product and process testing per established plans and procedures. Program and operate network analyzers and vision/imaging systems to verify electrical and mechanical conformance. Interpret drawings, specifications, GD&T, and standards; create and update inspection plans with input from Senior Quality Engineers. Review and approve internal and external FAI reports, perform FAIs as needed, and communicate non-compliances with recommended actions. Calibration Ownership Manage the calibration program for gauges, tools, and inspection equipment, including schedules, records, budget, and status. Perform in-house calibration, coordinate external services, and maintain calibration work instructions. Train others on proper use and basic checks of calibrated tools and monitor calibration data for trends or concerns. Customer Feedback & Quality Data Log and maintain records of customer feedback, complaints, and returns. Support investigations, including basic analysis, containment, and coordination of returned product review. Track and summarize feedback trends, prepare quality performance and KPI reports, and support completion of compliance documents (RoHS, REACH, TSCA, CMRT). Quality System & Continuous Improvement Create and update QA procedures, work instructions, and related quality documents. Perform internal audits, assist with risk assessments, and support related corrective and preventive actions. Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and maintain 5S and workplace organization in quality areas. Collaboration & Development Work closely with Senior Quality Engineers, accepting routine and position appropriate work, and escalating higher-risk issues. Seek coaching and feedback to build technical and problem-solving skills and help train others on quality procedures and equipment. Assist Sr. Quality Engineers with evaluations, containment, and other quality-related projects as needed. Demonstrated progression in quality-focused roles. Proficient in English verbal and written communication. Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office. Skilled in reading and interpreting drawings, specifications, and GD&T. Experienced with inspection and electrical test equipment such as vision/imaging systems, network analyzers, calipers, micrometers, force gauges, oscilloscopes, cable testers, and related tools.
