Solara Autism Services is seeking compassionate, energetic, and dedicated Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) to join our growing clinical team at our Brookfield, Connecticut clinic.
As a Full-Time RBT, you'll work one-on-one with children diagnosed with autism, implementing individualized treatment plans developed by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). You'll play a vital role in helping children develop communication, social, behavioral, play, and daily living skills while making a meaningful difference in the lives of children and their families every day.

Responsibilities

Provide one-on-one Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy to children with autism
-
Implement individualized treatment plans developed by a BCBA
-
Teach communication, social, play, academic readiness, self-help, and daily living skills

Utilize evidence-based teaching strategies and behavior reduction procedures
-
Collect accurate session data and maintain detailed clinical documentation
-
Communicate regularly with supervising BCBAs regarding client progress

Participate in ongoing supervision, team meetings, and professional development

Maintain a safe, engaging, and positive therapeutic environment

Collaborate with families and the clinical team to promote skill generalization

Follow all BACB RBT Ethics Code standards, company policies, and insurance documentation requirements
Qualifications
-
Current Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification preferred (or willingness to obtain certification)

High school diploma required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Education, Special Education, Human Services, or a related field preferred

Experience working with children with Autism Spectrum Disorder or other developmental disabilities is preferred

Passion for helping children learn and succeed

Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills

Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team

Ability to remain active throughout the workday, including sitting on the floor, playing with children, lifting up to 50 pounds, and responding quickly to client behaviors
