About Wisconsin Behavioral Health
Wisconsin Behavioral Health is a mission-driven organization committed to expanding access to quality behavioral healthcare in our community. We are launching a new Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP) and Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) in Brookfield, Wisconsin, and we are building a clinical team that is as passionate about this work as we are.
The Opportunity
As a Therapist at Wisconsin Behavioral Health, you will be part of the founding clinical team for our new PHP/IOP program - joining at the ground level and helping shape the culture, clinical experience, and outcomes of a program built from the start around recovery-oriented, evidence-based care.
This is a full-time, on-site role in Brookfield. You will carry an active caseload, facilitate group and individual therapy, collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary treatment team, and contribute to programming that genuinely moves the needle for the people we serve.
What You'll Do
  • Provide individual therapy, group therapy, and psychoeducation to clients enrolled in PHP and IOP programming.
  • Participate in daily treatment team meetings, contributing clinical insight to treatment planning and level-of-care decisions.
  • Complete timely and accurate clinical documentation in compliance with payer and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with the Executive Director, clinical leadership, and care coordination staff to support smooth client flow and positive outcomes.
  • Build relationships with referral partners and represent the program with professionalism in the community.
  • Contribute to a program culture rooted in empathy, accountability, and high-quality care.
Why Join Us
  • Be part of building something meaningful from the beginning - not just filling a seat, but helping shape a program.
  • Work in a structured, team-based PHP/IOP setting that supports clinical focus and professional growth.
  • Join a mission-driven organization with a real commitment to expanding access to behavioral healthcare.
  • A visible role where your clinical work directly impacts program outcomes and client success.

Requirements

Required
  • Active Wisconsin APSW, LCSW, LPC, LPC-IT, LMFT, or LMFT-IT license in good standing.
  • Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a related behavioral health discipline.
  • Experience providing therapy in a behavioral health setting, including familiarity with group facilitation, treatment planning, and clinical documentation.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
  • Comfort working in a start-up program environment where processes are still being built and flexibility is part of the job.
  • Full-time, on-site availability in Brookfield, Wisconsin.
Preferred
  • Prior experience in a PHP, IOP, or other structured outpatient behavioral health program.
  • Experience with substance use disorder treatment alongside mental health programming.
  • Familiarity with Wisconsin DHS behavioral health licensing and payer credentialing requirements.
