Overview

Are you a passionate Dental Hygienist looking for an opportunity to make a meaningful impact on your patients' oral health? We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Dental Hygienist (RDH) to join the team at Children’s Dental Care in Brookfield, CT.

About the Position

As a Dental Hygienist, you will play an important role in providing preventive and periodontal care while helping patients understand the importance of maintaining their oral health.

You will work closely with doctors and the clinical team to provide high-quality, patient-centered care while contributing to a positive and professional office environment.


Key Responsibilities

  • Provide exceptional preventive and periodontal care to patients.
  • Educate patients on oral health, preventive care, and treatment recommendations.
  • Build strong, trusting relationships with patients and team members.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and clinical documentation.
  • Collaborate with doctors and clinical team members to provide an exceptional patient experience.
  • Provide patient-centered care in a professional and respectful manner.
  • Contribute to a positive, collaborative, and team-focused office culture.
  • Follow all applicable clinical, safety, and compliance standards.

Requirements

 

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven ability to follow outlined policies, procedures, and clinical guidelines.
  • Professional and positive attitude.
  • Associate's degree from an accredited dental hygiene program.
  • Valid Connecticut license to practice as a Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH).
  • Current CPR certification required.
  • Ability to work effectively and collaboratively within a team environment.
  • Passion for patient care and oral health education.
  • Available to work within the office's current operating hours; specific shifts to be determined.

Preferred Qualities

  • Previous dental office experience.
  • Experience with Dentrix Ascend software.
  • Experience with periodontal therapy and preventive care.

Schedule

This position offers Full-Time and Per Diem opportunities, with scheduling options based on the needs of the practice and your availability.
