Develops and implements processes and procedures at both the ARC Command and field levels to support financial consolidation and regulatory compliance. Overseas fiscal year opening and closing activities. Develop comprehensive training materials and coordinates and conducts training sessions to promote accurate, consistent, and effective use of all assigned accounting systems. Financial Consolidation and Analyst Responsibilities Plans, coordinates, and oversee the year-end consolidation of all ARC Command units to produce accurate and timely Command-wide and individual unit financial statements. Accounting System Responsibilities Serves as the primary liaison between Command Finance, Command Director of Field Accounting, and the Regional Accounting Services Specialists; oversees user access to Command-wide accounting systems; and coordinates requests to add or remove bank accounts within the accounting database. Physical Requirements and Working Conditions: Work is performed in a normal office environment where there are little or no physical discomforts associated with changes in weather or discomforts with noise, dust, dirt, and the like. Work requires travel and overnight stays throughout the Southern Territory and can include travel to locations outside of the Southern Territory. WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR IN YOU: Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in Accounting, Business Administration or a related field, and 4 years progressively responsible experience performing double-entry computerized accounting work with SAGE Intact accounting experience preferred, and one year of related training experience, and or Any equivalent combination of training and experience that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.
