The lab sections enroll no more than 16 students, so the learning environment is ideal for one-on-one faculty-student interactions. Applicants will be expected to foster an inclusive learning environment by engaging in and promoting diverse teaching, learning, and mentoring communities. Adjunct faculty will receive mentorship and support from faculty within the Physics program. Laboratory courses meet for one three-hour period each week in the afternoon or evening. The semester runs from August 24 to December 4, with final exams in the following week. Final grades for the semester are due on Tuesday, December 15.
