Key ResponsibilitiesÂ
• Accompany providers during patient visits and accurately document patientÂ
encounters in the electronic medical record (EMR) in real time.Â
• Record the patient's history of present illness (HPI), review of systems (ROS),Â
physical examination findings, assessment, treatment plan, and follow-upÂ
instructions as directed by the provider.Â
• Document laboratory, imaging, and diagnostic test results within the patient's medical record.Â
• Enter orders for laboratory tests, diagnostic procedures, referrals, and medications as instructed by the provider.Â
• Process prescription refill requests in accordance with provider instructions.Â
• Accurately enter billing information based on the services provided during theÂ
patient visit.Â
• Prepare patients for examination by obtaining appropriate information and ensuringÂ
examination rooms are ready for use.Â
• Maintain exam rooms by stocking supplies, preparing equipment, and ensuring aÂ
clean, organized clinical environment.Â
• Assist providers during examinations, procedures, and patient treatments asÂ
appropriate.Â
•Observe, document, and communicate patient concerns or changes in condition to the provider.Â
• Educate patients on prescribed medications, diagnostic procedures, treatmentÂ
plans, and wellness recommendations as directed by the provider.Â
• Instruct patients on specimen collection and preparation for diagnostic testingÂ
when appropriate.Â
• Maintain accurate, timely, and complete patient records in compliance withÂ
practice standards.Â
• Coordinate multiple patient encounters efficiently while maintaining accuracy andÂ
attention to detail.Â
• Report malfunctioning medical equipment or safety concerns to the appropriateÂ
supervisor.Â
• Follow OSHA, HIPAA, infection control, and all applicable healthcare regulationsÂ
and company policies.Â
• Collaborate effectively with physicians, clinical staff, and administrative teamÂ
members to ensure efficient patient care.Â
• Maintain strict confidentiality of all patients, employees, and organizationalÂ
information.Â
• Perform additional clinical and administrative duties as assigned to supportÂ
practice operations.Â

Required QualificationsÂ
• High school diploma or equivalent required.Â
• Minimum of one (1) year of experience using an Electronic Medical Record (EMR)Â
system.Â
• Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology.Â
• Excellent written documentation and typing skills.Â
• Strong organizational and time management abilities.Â
• Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities in a fast-paced healthcareÂ
environment.Â
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Â
• Strong attention to detail with a high level of accuracy.Â
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and electronic medical record systems.Â
• Ability to work independently while contributing effectively as part of aÂ
multidisciplinary healthcare team. Â

Preferred QualificationsÂ
• Previous experience as a Medical Scribe, Medical Assistant, or in a clinicalÂ
healthcare setting.Â
• Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) certification preferred but not required.Â
• Familiarity with medical coding, billing documentation, and healthcareÂ
administrative workflows.Â
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification preferred.Â
