The Marketing Coordinator supports the execution of the bank’s marketing strategy by coordinating campaigns, managing vendor relationships, and leading logistics for internal and external events. This role serves as a key connector between the marketing committee, internal stakeholders, branches, and external partners, ensuring initiatives are delivered on time, within budget, and aligned with brand and regulatory standards.

 

The responsibilities listed below represent an overview of the position; additional duties may be assigned as business needs evolve.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and support the bank’s marketing committee, including scheduling meetings, preparing agendas, documenting minutes, and tracking action items
  • Execute marketing strategies and maintain project timelines to ensure timely delivery of initiatives
  • Compile campaign updates, performance metrics, and project status reports; leverage data and insights to inform decision-making
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for external marketing vendors, including agencies, printers, and promotional partners
  • Obtain quotes, evaluate pricing, and support vendor selection and procurement processes
  • Manage vendor timelines and ensure deliverables meet expectations, brand standards, and regulatory requirements
  • Track invoices, monitor marketing expenses, and support budget forecasting and management
  • Support execution of multi-channel marketing campaigns, including print, digital, and in-branch promotions
  • Ensure all marketing materials align with brand standards and banking regulations
  • Oversee and maintain the bank’s digital presence, including website, social media, and digital advertising platforms
  • Create and update marketing materials, including basic graphic design for digital and print use
  • Plan, coordinate, and execute internal and external events, including community outreach, sponsorships, and employee engagement activities, ensuring a professional and consistent brand presence
  • Partner with branch teams to support local marketing initiatives and community involvement
  • Build and maintain relationships with community partners and external stakeholders
  • Oversee sourcing, ordering, and distribution of branded apparel and promotional merchandise
  • Maintain inventory of marketing materials and promotional products
  • Organize and maintain marketing assets, files, and documentation

Decision-Making Authority:

The scope of decision-making authority and approval levels will be defined in collaboration with your supervisor. Matters requiring broader organizational alignment will be escalated to the CEO or Executive Committee as appropriate.

Compliance Responsibilities:

  • Ensure all activities comply with federal and state regulations, including Truth in Lending Act (TILA), Real Estate Settlement Procedures Act (RESPA), Equal Credit Opportunity Act (ECOA), and other applicable lending laws as needed in role.
  • Adhere to Bank Secrecy Act (BSA), Anti-Money Laundering (AML), and Customer Identification Program (CIP) requirements as needed.
  • Maintain confidentiality of customer information and follow all privacy and security guidelines.
  • Follow internal policies, procedures, and secondary market guidelines for loan processing and documentation.

Physical Requirements:

Intermittently remain in a stationary position for extended periods of time and occasionally move objects weighing up to 25 pounds. Work is performed in a standard office environment with minimal noise.

Education and Experience:

A bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or a related field is strongly preferred, or equivalent experience; prior marketing experience is preferred.
