Bartender

Job Description

The Bartender @ Newbury of Brookline will prepare and serve beverages and food to residents with the utmost level of hospitality. Mixing and garnishing cocktails, both alcoholic and non-alcoholic, and following or creating cocktail recipes will fall under the Barkeep’s responsibilities. The Bartender will report to the Dining Room Manager and assist with other dining needs as needed.

Pay: $21-$22/hr (no tips)

Full Time or Part Time Availble! Great Benefits!!

What will I do every day?

• Perform all dining steps of service in a friendly and professional manner
• Greet and escort residents in the bar area and assist as needed
• Read and listen to residents to determine beverage preferences, makerecommendations, and taking drink orders.
• Plan drink menus and inform residents about new beverages and specials.
• Selecting and mixing ingredients, garnishing glasses, and serving beverages to residents.
• Taking inventory and ordering supplies to ensure bar and tables are wellstocked.
• Adhering to all food safety and quality regulations.
• Perform other duties and tasks as assigned or required by the Supervisor.

What will I need to be successful in this role?

• A passion for excellence
• A great moral compass
• High school graduate preferred
• 6 months to 1 year of bartending experience
• Meet state minimum age to serve alcohol
