Position Title:Â Seasonal Groundskeeper
Position Reports to:Â Superintendent and Assistant Superintendent

Compensation:Â $18/hr.Â

Seasonal Grounds Staff can expect a fast-paced day, but the hours seem to fly by and the results are far worth the effort. Primary Responsibilities:
- Mowing of greens, tees, fairways and roughs
- Golf Course setup
- Construction projects. This includes drainage work.
- Hand wateringÂ
- Bunker maintenance
- Tree care
- Aerification of all playing surfaces
- Divot filling
- String trim
- Trash removal
- Any other duties that may include upkeep of a private championship golf course
Required Skills:Â
- A willingness to learn is keyÂ
- Must have a driver’s licenseÂ
- Some golf course maintenance experience a plus, but not required
Physical Requirements:
- Must be 18 years of age or older due to the use of heavy equipment
- Must be able to arrive as early as 5:00 AM, work weekends, and holidays as needed during the golf season
- Must have a reliable means of transportation
- Must be able to stand and work outside up to 8 to 12 hours per day
- Must have the endurance to walk and push machines
- Must have the ability to lift, bend, and reach
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs
