Position Title:Â Bartender
Position Reports to:Â Beverage Manager and Dining Services Manager

Compensation:Â $25 -30/hour
Primary Responsibilities:Â
- Intermediate knowledge of all wine, beer, cocktail and non-alcoholic beverage offerings
- Demonstrated ability of cocktail preparation methods and styles (i.e. straight up, shaken, stirred, neat, etc)
- Knowledge of seasonal specialty cocktails and wine by the glass menuÂ
- Understanding of appropriate glassware required per beverage type
- Prepare beverages in a timely manner as ordered
- Assist with additional beverage services during service (i.e. water, cocktail, coffee)
- Set-up and break down of bar, glassware, and equipment in scheduled space
- Stock liquor, wine, beer and non-alcoholic beverages; restock as necessary
- Daily sales entry in point-of-sale system and accurate reporting of inventory consumption
- Monitoring equipment in bar; coolers, glass machine, soda dispensing machine
- Ability to present and pour a bottle of wine or champagne
- Complete side-work and prep as needed (i.e. cutting citrus, polishing glassware, preparing mixers, etc)
- Complete close-out duties and check out with manager prior to departing
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of all F&B storage areas
- Assist other bartenders with service and assigned tasks
- Communicate courteously and politely with members and guests and address by name
- Ability to work with all staff cohesively and follow directions from manager
- Maintaining logs to track daily protocols for sanitation
- Additional duties/ projects as assigned by management
Required Skills:Â
- Intermediate Food and Beverage knowledge
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, changing environment, and perform the essential functions of the jobÂ
- Basic reading and writing skills
- Ability to speak English conversationally
- Availability to work nights, weekends, holidays as scheduled
Specialized Knowledge/Licenses Required:Â
- TIPS certification
Uniform Requirements:
- White, clean, pressed, dress shirt (provided on first day)
- Black slacks/pants (no denim, yoga pants, or casual materials)Â
- If the slacks are tailored with a belt loop, please wear a black belt with simple buckle
- Green Tie (if needed, provided by TCC)
- Black Apron (if needed, provided by TCC)
- Black socks or stockings that go above the ankle
- Black unadorned, clean/polished, comfortable work shoes
- Black vest and/or jacket (if needed, provided by TCC)
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able bend and reach for items off shelf, carry trays, and able to lift up to 40 lbs.
- Must be able to stand for 8 to 10 hours
- Use touch screen for POS systemÂ
