The Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner is a vital part of HRI Hospital’s multidisciplinary treatment team. This is a full time, Monday – Friday, position.

Responsibilities

• Provide advanced practice nursing support for patients in the psychiatric outpatient and/or partial hospital programs
• Participates in treatment planning, implementation, and monitoring
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary treatment team to identifying patient treatment needs
• Complete medication assessments and adjustments
• Prescribe medication for patients under the supervision of a psychiatrist
• Provide social support as needed
• Establishes and maintains effective working relationships within the agency, community and referral sources
