Warehouse Associate — Crystal, MN

Smart Delivery Service is a same-day courier, warehousing, and logistics company serving medical/life sciences, legal, manufacturing, and industrial clients across the Twin Cities metro. We're looking for a reliable, hands-on Warehouse Associate to join our Crystal, MN facility.

About the Role

As a Warehouse Associate, you'll be a key part of our daily warehouse operations — keeping inventory accurate, freight moving, and orders flowing on time. This is a hands-on role suited for someone who takes pride in doing physical work well and staying organized under a steady pace.

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM (includes a 30-minute lunch)
Pay: $18/hour
Location: Crystal, MN

What You'll Do

  • Receive incoming shipments and verify contents against packing slips/POs
  • Putaway product to correct warehouse locations
  • Pick, pack, and prepare outbound shipments
  • Scan products using handheld/barcode scanning equipment to maintain accurate inventory records
  • Load and unload trucks — packages, pallets, and freight
  • Operate a sit-down forklift to move pallets and freight throughout the warehouse
  • Sort packages and freight by route, destination, or customer
  • Perform routine inventory counts and help resolve discrepancies
  • Keep the warehouse clean, organized, and safety-compliant

Must-Have:

  • Current sit-down forklift certification, with hands-on experience operating a sit-down forklift
  • Ability to lift up to 65 lbs regularly, and occasionally more with a team lift
  • Comfortable standing, walking, bending, and lifting for a full shift
  • Ability to safely operate a pallet jack (manual and/or electric)
  • Basic comfort with handheld scanners or willingness to learn
  • Reliable attendance and punctuality
  • Ability to work independently and follow safety procedures
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States

Preferred (Nice-to-Have):

  • Prior warehouse, freight, or logistics experience
  • Experience with inventory or warehouse management software
  • Experience in a medical/HIPAA-sensitive or regulated environment

Physical Requirements

This role requires regular lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling of materials up to 65 lbs, along with extended periods of standing and walking throughout the shift, in a warehouse environment that may include exposure to varying temperatures depending on the dock and loading areas.
