Join our team as a Central Sterile Technician, working alongside NYP Central Sterile Technicians in providing sterilization services to multiple Ambulatory and Inpatient Operating rooms including In Vitro Fertilization, Labor & Delivery, Endoscopy, Interventional Cardiology units.

Certified Central Sterile Supply Technician - Center for Community Health - Full-time - Evenings (3PM-11PM)

In this role, you will be responsible for preparing surgical trays and supplies in a safe and cost-effective manner. As a skilled professional at NewYork-Presbyterian, you will be responsible for decontamination, cleaning, assembly, packaging, sterilization, and distribution of surgical instruments.

This is a full time evening (3PM-11PM) position at NewYork-Presbyterian/Brooklyn Methodist Hospital - Center for Community Health. Weekends and holidays are required.

Preferred Criteria

Prior experience in Central Sterile

Required Criteria

High School Diploma or GED
Certified Registered Central Service Technician (CRCST) from the International Association of Healthcare Central Service Material Management or certified by the Certification Board for Sterile Processing and Distribution (CBSPD)
Computer literacy
