Lead Central Processing Technician - Central Sterile Supply - Mid-Shift (11AM-7PM)
In this role, you will be responsible for decontamination, cleaning, assembly, packaging, sterilization, and distribution of surgical instruments. Work alongside NYP Central Sterile Technicians in providing sterilization services to multiple Ambulatory and Inpatient Operating rooms including In Vitro Fertilization, Labor & Delivery, Endoscopy, Interventional Cardiology units. Act as a point person for handling stat orders and requisition from patient care areas.
This is a full time nights position working 11:00AM-7:00PM at NewYork-Presbyterian/Brooklyn Methodist Hospital. Weekends and holidays are required.
Required Criteria
At least six months experience in CSP department required
High School Diploma of GED
Certified Registered Central Sterile Technician (CRCST) or Certification Board for Sterile Processing and Distribution (CBSPD)
Computer literacy

Please note that all roles require on-site presence (variable by role). Therefore, all employees should live within a commutable distance to NYP.
