About the Role:
Advanced Imaging Concepts is looking for a skilled and dedicated MRI Technologist to join our growing team in Brooksville, FL. Responsibilities:
- Perform high-quality MRI scans in accordance with established protocols and physician orders
- Prepare and position patients for MRI procedures, ensuring comfort and safety throughout the process
- Screen patients for contraindications and obtain relevant medical history prior to scanning
- Operate and maintain MRI equipment, reporting any technical issues promptly
- Collaborate with radiologists and clinical staff to ensure accurate and timely image interpretation
- Maintain detailed patient records and imaging documentation in compliance with regulatory standards
- Adhere to all safety protocols, including MRI safety screening and infection control procedures
Requirements:
- ARRT certification in Radiography or MRI (MR) required
- Current Florida state licensure or eligibility to obtain
- Previous MRI technologist experience preferred
- Strong knowledge of MRI safety standards and contrast administration protocols
- Excellent patient communication and bedside manner skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative imaging team
- BLS/CPR certification required or ability to obtain upon hire
