Automotive Detailer / Vehicle Detail Specialist

Position Summary

We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Automotive Detailer to join our dealership team. The Automotive Detailer is responsible for cleaning, restoring, and maintaining the appearance of vehicles on the lot and preparing customer vehicles for delivery. This position plays an important role in ensuring all vehicles meet dealership presentation standards and provide excellent customer experience.

Requirements

 
Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Wash, wax, buff, and polish vehicle exteriors 
• Vacuum and shampoo carpets, seats, and vehicle interiors 
• Clean windows, mirrors, wheels, tires, and trim 
• Apply protective finishes and detailing products as needed 
• Inspect vehicles for cleanliness and report any damage or maintenance      concerns 
• Prepare sold vehicles for customer delivery 
• Maintain organization and cleanliness of the detailing area and equipment 
• Move and park vehicles safely around dealership property 
• Follow all dealership safety procedures and company policies 
• Assist with maintenance and additional duties as assigned 

Qualifications

• Previous automotive detailing experience preferred but not required 
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record 
• Ability to operate automatic and manual transmission vehicles preferred 
• Strong attention to detail and time management skills 
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team 
• Ability to stand, bend, and lift up to 50 pounds for extended periods
