Maintenance Technician

We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Mechanic Technician to join our team at a Brooksville-based food processing and manufacturing facility. This position plays a key role in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of production equipment, facility systems, and supporting infrastructure. The ideal candidate is hands‑on, mechanically inclined, and committed to maintaining high standards of reliability and safety.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair production machinery, plant equipment, and facility systems.
• Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and welding‑related issues.
• Conduct routine inspections and accurately diagnose equipment malfunctions.
• Analyze failures and implement effective corrective and preventive solutions.
• Use hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment such as voltage and amp meters.
• Perform preventive maintenance to minimize downtime and support continuous operation.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area following all safety policies and procedures.
• Collaborate with team members, production staff, and supervisors to support plant operations.

Requirements

• Proven experience in industrial or manufacturing maintenance, preferably in the food industry.
• Strong working knowledge of tools, materials, and repair techniques for mechanical and electrical systems.
• Ability to work under moderate supervision while completing tasks accurately and efficiently.
• Excellent problem‑solving skills with strong attention to detail.
• Must pass a background check.
