Description

We’re Hiring: Technical Trainer (Training Manager)

If you’ve worked hands-on with circuit boards, soldering, and IPC standards—and you’re the person others rely on to teach and elevate the team—this role is for you.

We’re looking for someone who can own training at a site level, combining real electronics manufacturing experience with the ability to build and deliver training that actually improves performance.

What You’ll Own

This isn’t just delivering training — you’ll be responsible for the entire training ecosystem at the site.

  • Lead all training programs: onboarding, technical skills, compliance, and development
  • Partner with Operations, Quality, Engineering, and HR to align training with real production needs
  • Translate technical processes into clear, effective, hands-on training
  • Own the LMS: assignments, tracking, reporting, and data integrity
  • Maintain audit-ready training records and support customer/regulatory audits
  • Manage skills matrices, certifications, and workforce readiness
  • Continuously improve training effectiveness using feedback and performance data

What Makes This Role Different

  • You are the site authority on training
  • Your work directly impacts quality, efficiency, and workforce capability
  • You’ll influence how work is performed—not just how it’s taught
  • You’ll bridge the gap between technical operations and people development

Requirements

 ? What You Bring

  • 3–5+ years of hands-on electronics manufacturing experience  (soldering, PCB assembly, IPC standards, etc.)
  • Experience training, coaching, or developing others in a production environment
  • Ability to translate technical content into practical, easy-to-understand training
  • Experience working cross-functionally with Operations, Quality, or Engineering
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Experience with LMS platforms (or ability to quickly learn)

? Bonus If You Have

  • IPC Certified Instructor (CIT) certification (or willingness to obtain)
  • Experience in regulated or customer-driven manufacturing environments
  • Prior experience leading or coordinating training programs

What Success Looks Like

  • New hires reach proficiency faster
  • Training is compliant, audit-ready, and well-documented
  • Measurable improvements in quality and reduced rework
  • A cross-trained, flexible, and confident workforce
  • Training programs that evolve with process and engineering changes

If you’ve been the person on the floor who others trust to teach, guide, and raise the bar—and you’re ready to own training at a higher level—we want to talk.
