Job Description:
 
The Housekeeping Supervisor/Manager is responsible for overseeing housekeeping operations and ensuring guest rooms and public areas meet (Hotel’s Name)’s cleanliness and quality standards.
 
Job Duties
 
Duties include, but are not limited to:
  • Assign rooms and tasks to housekeeping staff and ensure adequate coverage;
  • Monitor and update room status accurately and in a timely manner;
  • Assist housekeeping staff as needed, including cleaning rooms when short staffed;
  • Inspect guest rooms and public areas to ensure cleanliness and Company standards are met;
  • Report maintenance issues, discrepancies, or concerns to management;
  • Maintain and monitor housekeeping supply inventory;
  • Verify deliveries and report any discrepancies;
  • Manage lost and found items in accordance with Company procedures;
  • Support hiring, training, performance evaluations, and discipline of housekeeping staff;
  • Train employees on Company standards, procedures, and safety practices;
  • Communicate regularly with management regarding operations and staffing needs;
  • Promote and maintain a safe work environment;
  • Coordinate with other departments to support overall hotel operations; and
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Physical Requirements
 
This position requires the ability to perform job duties with or without reasonable accommodation, including:
  • Frequent standing, walking, bending, and reaching;
