Overview

Kimley-Horn's Broomfield, Colorado (CO) office is seeking a Dry Utilities Analyst with 2+ years of experience to join their Dry Utilities team! This is not a remote position.

Responsibilities

  • Work on a variety of projects, such as undergrounding overhead electrical and communications lines, coordinating electrical and communications utilities for new developments, photometrics and lighting, natural gas lines, and more
  • Manage project tasks, project design and permitting, construction coordination, and provide regular communication and guidance with less experienced staff
  • Utilize technical software programs such as AutoCAD Civil 3D regularly to analyze, produce, and review deliverables for our clients.
  • Attend meetings and communicate with clients, government entities, and various regulatory agencies to fulfill any regulations and requirements relating to projects
  • You will work closely and collaboratively with other industry-leading professionals, various jurisdictions, and contractors
  • In addition to strong technical experience, other responsibilities will include managing project tasks, project design and permitting, construction coordination, and coordinating work with other team members
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary team to contribute to the successful completion of assigned projects
  • Assist in monitoring project progress, budgets, and schedules
  • As a critical member of the team, you will perform a variety of engineering tasks and will receive both on-the-job and formal training as well as mentorship and exposure to plan production, project financials, and client interactions

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent (Associate degree preferred)
  • 2+ years of relevant experience
  • Experience using AutoCAD and Civil 3D
  • Communicates technical thoughts clearly and concisely
  • Excellent technical writing skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Salary Range

  • $70,000 - $110,000
  • Eligible for performance-based bonuses
