Position Summary

Professional Cleaning and Maintenance Services (PCMS) is seeking an experienced and dependable EVS Operations Manager to oversee the daily operations of multiple facilities within an assigned region. Both part-time and full-time positions are available.

This position is responsible for leading employees, maintaining customer relationships, conducting inspections, managing schedules and coverage, and ensuring every facility consistently meets PCMS white-glove cleaning standards.

The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader who can manage multiple priorities, communicate professionally, resolve problems quickly, and hold teams accountable.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the daily operations of multiple facilities.
  • Maintain a consistent leadership presence at assigned facilities.
  • Ensure facilities remain clean, safe, fully staffed, and inspection-ready.
  • Conduct and document facility inspections 
  • Address cleanliness and performance concerns in real time.
  • Coach, train, and hold team leads and housekeeping employees accountable.
  • Build professional relationships with customers, facility contacts, and employees.
  • Respond to call-outs, determine coverage, and escalate when additional assistance is needed.
  • Monitor attendance, punctuality, uniforms, PPE, and employee performance.
  • Coordinate supply, equipment, chemical, and linen needs for each facility.
  • Ensure employees use the correct chemicals, equipment, and cleaning procedures.
  • Investigate and respond to customer concerns promptly and professionally.
  • Document coaching, attendance issues, inspections, and corrective actions.
  • Provide regular operational updates and reports to senior leadership.
  • Assist with cleaning and coverage when operationally necessary.
  • Complete other duties and special projects as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Previous management or supervisory experience in EVS, housekeeping, janitorial services, healthcare, hospitality, or a related field preferred
  • Knowledge of commercial cleaning standards, chemicals, PPE, and equipment.
  • Strong leadership, coaching, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage schedules, call-outs, staffing concerns, and customer requests.
  • Ability to work independently and make timely operational decisions.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and communicate professionally.
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Ability to travel between assigned facilities.
  • Ability to successfully complete all required background checks, drug screening, and health requirements.

Schedule Requirements

  • Part-time and full-time positions are available.
  • The schedule will primarily include afternoon and evening hours.
  • Open availability is required based on operational needs.
  • Local travel between assigned facilities is required.
  • Hours and schedules are subject to change based on business and operational needs.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
  • Ability to bend, reach, push, pull, and lift supplies or equipment.
  • Ability to safely operate standard commercial cleaning equipment.
  • Ability to wear required PPE and work around cleaning chemicals.
  • Ability to perform cleaning duties when operational support is needed.
