Kish Bank is seeking a Data & Automation Engineer to help build the future of how data flows, systems connect, and business processes scale across our organization.

This is an exciting opportunity for an early-career professional looking to grow in Python development, data engineering, API integrations, workflow automation, SQL, and cloud data platforms like Snowflake. You'll work alongside experienced engineers to develop data pipelines, automate business processes, integrate enterprise systems, and support analytics and artificial intelligence initiatives.

What You'll Do

Data Engineering & API Integrations

• Develop and support Python-based data pipelines that move and transform data across enterprise systems.
• Build and maintain REST API integrations with internal and third-party platforms.
• Help modernize manual and file-based processes through API-driven automation.
• Contribute to logging, monitoring, testing, and error handling for data integrations.

Automation & Workflow Development

• Build automated workflows using Python and Microsoft Power Automate.
• Support automation of business processes, data movement, and system updates.
• Assist with robotic process automation (RPA) solutions when APIs are unavailable.
• Identify opportunities to eliminate manual work through automation.

Data Platforms & Analytics

• Load, transform, and optimize data within Snowflake.
• Build analytics-ready datasets to support reporting and business intelligence.
• Assist with Power BI dashboards and reporting solutions.
• Improve data quality, governance, and scalability.

AI & Innovation

• Support AI-enabled workflows such as document processing, summarization, and intelligent automation.
• Gain exposure to emerging AI technologies and automation strategies.
• Contribute to innovative solutions that improve operational efficiency.

Collaboration & Professional Growth

• Partner with business and technology teams to deliver impactful solutions.
• Follow software development, data governance, and security best practices.
• Continuously learn modern technologies related to data engineering, automation, cloud platforms, and AI.

What You Bring

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, Data Science, or a related technical field.
• 1–3 years of experience in Python development, software development, data engineering, automation, or a related technical role (internships, co-ops, academic projects, and professional experience are all valued).
• Experience writing SQL queries and working with relational databases.
• Basic understanding of REST APIs and web services.
• Experience using Python or another scripting language for automation or data processing.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to learn new technologies quickly in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
