POSITION SUMMARY

 

The Cage Representative is responsible for providing a high level of fast and friendly service to patrons and employees, while conducting accurate transactions in the Casino cage.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES

·         Represents Glacier Peaks Casino in the most positive manner with internal and external guests to satisfy service expectations.  

·         Interacts effectively with a diverse group of guests and Team Members, learns and uses operating practices of the department and the organization. 

·         Upholds Glacier Peaks’ Mission statement in all aspects of the position, by providing guests with an exciting and rewarding entertainment experience, through exceptional customer service and hospitality. 

·         Greets guests with professionalism and a friendly smile. 

·         Assists and maintains a comfortable and positive environment for all guests that enter the facility, as well as other employees. 

·         Assists marketing staff on special promotions when necessary. 

·         When unable to handle a complaint, calls supervisor or shift manager or appropriate marketing personnel, in order to resolve issues in a professional manner. 

·         Assists guests with jackpot wins.  

·         Maintain security and accountability of company funds located in the cage during a shift.

·         Opens, maintains, safeguards and closes a bank during an assigned shift.

·         Assists customers with monetary and informational needs.

·         Redeems chips for customers as specified by policy and procedure guidelines.

·         Uses TABLETRAC to cash out tickets

·         Check cashing

·         Cashes traveler’s checks using the check cashing system under specific guidelines.

·         Processes credit card advances using the Ditronics system under specific guidelines.

·         Assists in the training of new team members.

·         Follow established house rules, procedures, and internal control policies.

·         Fill all required documents completely and accurately with legible print.

·         Performs any other duties that may be assigned from time to time.
