Job Title: Prep Cook/Catering

Department: Food & Beverage

Reports To: F & B Supervisor

POSITION SUMMARY

Prepares and cooks meals for guests and employees while demonstrating quality, quantity and safety in a working environment.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES

· Strive to uphold all hygiene and sanitary regulations and be clean and presentable at all times.

· Follow production lists.

· Prepare raw ingredients into finished product, per specifications.

· Maintain work area for safety.

· Assist other associates to ensure all kitchen duties are completed within given time.

· Assist with order preparation.

· Suggest new food items.

· Assist with special events.

· Bake breads and pastry.

· Performs any other duties that may be assigned from time to time.

QUALIFICATIONS

· High School Diploma or equivalent.

· Vocational training and/or previous food experience preferred.

· Sanitation and safe food handling certification required.

· Ability to maintain effective working relationships with co-workers and the public.

· Ability to exercise initiative, sound judgment, logic and problem solving skills.

· Must be able to stand for long periods of time.

· Must be able to lift and carry up to (50) pounds.

· Pre-employment drug testing with applicants receiving an offer of conditional employment.

· Must be able to obtain a Blackfeet Tribal Gaming License.

REQUIREMENTs

· Experience with data entry and data management.

· Proven ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing. Good interpersonal skills required.

· Must be reliable (good attendance and punctuality), organized, flexible, and posses excellent time management skills.

· Attention to detail and accuracy required.

· Must possess a high level of integrity, and ability to maintain confidential information.
