POSITION SUMMARY


Maintain facility, customer and employee security and safety during assigned shift. Escort all money transfers throughout the Casino and outlying areas.


ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES

 

  • Patrols Casino gaming floor, hallways, exterior of the Casino and parking areas to ensure safety of all resources, facilities, customers and employees, and to ensure compliance with Casino policies, State and Local Laws.
  • Conduct guest ID Checks and observes suspicious behavior of Team Members and guests as necessary.
  • Safeguards casino patrons, team members, and assets by guarding doors, patrolling and verifying slot fills and jackpots, and other observation of sensitive assets and procedures.
  • Provides security escort for cash transactions in the casino or for entrances to sensitive areas and guest escorts as needed.
  • Conduct surveillance of Casino patrons, employees and property in an effort to identify and deter criminal or unusual activity.
  • Coordinate investigations or emergency activities with local law enforcement and other emergency service providers.
  • Prepares security reports describing activities and incidents.
  • Provides assistance as necessary to casino guests.
  • Performs any other duties that may be assigned from time to time.

QUALIFICATIONS

 

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • One year experience in Law Enforcement or Security.
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing. Good interpersonal skills required.
  • Knowledge of proper security procedures in a public relations/customer service atmosphere.
  • Ability to work effectively with co-workers, the public, and other law enforcement officials.
  • Ability to stand for long periods of time.
  • Ability to physically control disorderly patrons.
  • Ability to work in an environment that contains excessive noise, stress, and smoke.
  • Ability to work on a flexible shift schedule.
  • Must be able to obtain a Blackfeet Tribal Gaming License.
  • Must maintain confidentiality at all times.
  • Must have a valid drivers license
