The Assembly Technician II independently performs a broader range of mechanical and electrical assembly tasks with minimal supervision. Key Responsibilities

  • Assemble mechanical and electrical components using drawings, schematics, and work instructions
  • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical specifications
  • Assemble simple electronic components and subassemblies
  • Use hand tools and measurement tools (e.g., calipers) accurately
  • Troubleshoot and resolve basic assembly issues and escalate complex problems as needed
  • Perform quality checks to ensure assemblies meet specifications
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment
  • Follow all prescribed safety regulations and company policies
  • Perform other related duties as assigned


Required Skills & Qualifications

  • High School diploma or GED preferred
  • Demonstrated experience assembling mechanical and electrical components
  • Ability to read schematics and technical drawings
  • Working knowledge of measurement tools and tolerances
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
