Job Description:
The Distribution Center Loss Prevention Supervisor is responsible for the Loss Prevention, Physical Security and Fire Safety Programs within the DC, training and development, and works in partnership with Operations management to protect company assets and resolve shrink related issues.Â
Responsibilities include and are not limited to:Â
- Lead hourly associates in the implementation and execution of all loss prevention, physical security and safety programs within the DCÂ
- Provide supervision of onsite and offsite Contract Security OfficersÂ
- Ensure all shrink awareness, access control, alarm system management, merchandise audit, security programs, trailer and seal controlÂ
- Secure facility and its associates during emergencies and labor-related concerns and eventsÂ
- Provide training of LP associates within the building to ensure technical and professional developmentÂ
- Develop, in conjunction with the facilities management and DC Occupational Health and Safety staff, fire/safety programs to ensure compliance with company insurance, OSHA and NFPA guidelinesÂ
- Develop highly trained and competent hourly staff for future business needsÂ
- Develop relationships with outside agencies, local police, fire departments, insurance companies and external security agenciesÂ
- Lead respective team through all investigations within the DCÂ
- Perform special projects as assignedÂ
Requirements:Â
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent related experienceÂ
- Knowledge of Distribution Center operationsÂ
- Ability and desire to learn Loss Prevention, physical security and safety regulationsÂ
- Ability and desire to learn Investigations/interviewing skillsÂ
- Ability and desire to learn skills related to directing security operations and Loss Prevention processesÂ
