Position Summary:
Assist production supervisor in various daily activities, ranging from but not limited to promoting labor efficiency, championing quality and sanitary objectives while supporting training needs as required.

Primary Responsibilities:
Empty Vats (with a bucket or pump).
Move the cheesecloth, catches and removes excess cheese (to dry the cheese).
Load and empty mixer.
Forming cheese as need it.
Assist in washing trays (clean, sanitize and set up the trays as required, be able to carry trays with/without cheese up to 50 lbs).
Wash and clean dry tables.
Spray paprika (when necessary).
Responsible for all duties included for class V.

Key Activities:
General clean up, wash and sanitize.
Performs tasks to minimize loss and prevent contamination of product.
Report all scrap usage to proper personnel.
Make sure all equipment, floor is clean and sanitize prior to start the shift.
Effective communication with supervisors, employees, quality assurance and maintenance.
Assist Lead man on daily activities.
Assist in training as appropriate.
Follows proper operating procedures.
Report mechanical issues to supervisors immediately.
Work well and have a good communication with all other co-workers.
Identifies, corrects and communicates product defects.
Responsible for complying to all Safe Quality Food (SQF) polices/procedures and requirements.
Follow GMP’s, sanitation procedures, and quality procedures as set forth by QA and/or supervisors.
Responsible for any other activity as directed by supervisor.Â

WORK ENVIROMENT & PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Production roles are performed in a food manufacturing environment and require strict adherence to food safety, quality, and workplace safety standards, including use of required PPE. Employees may work in areas with variable temperatures, machinery noise, and exposure to food ingredients and sanitation chemicals. The role requires standing or walking for extended periods, performing repetitive tasks, and regularly lifting up to 25–35 pounds (occasionally up to 50 pounds with assistance).
