Job DetailsLevel: ExperiencedJob Location: Brownwood - Main - Brownwood, TX 76801Position Type: Full TimeJob Category: BankingSUMMARY: The Loan Operations Specialist position performs loan maintenance, loan research, and document and payment processing as needed. The position oversees the loan documents, from validation of the information to processing, review, and imaging, as well as booking the loan into the system and processing payments.  JOB DUTIES AND ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Gain comprehensive knowledge of Consumer and Commercial Lending operations, including understanding associated procedures, software, and programs. Become familiar with Federal Banking Regulations and internal bank policies and procedures. Gain a thorough knowledge of the core system and its functions, including data input and reporting. Pull data from the core system to create various reports. Review loan documents to ensure consistency with loan approval conditions, bank policies, regulatory requirements, and servicing. Review and balance all General Ledger Accounts relating to loan control postings and validate all postings made for consumer and commercial loans. Review all maintenance performed relating to consumer/commercial loans and validate for proper documentation. Review all insurance policies and notices received from insurance companies for consumer and commercial loans and validate the accuracy and completeness of each document. Review Adverse Action notices and withdrawn loan applications for compliance. Review HMDA data collection sheets on reportable loans and submit them for HMDA reporting. File all UCC’s with the Secretary of State relating to consumer and commercial loans and monitor for expiring UCC’s that may need extensions filed. Review all paid off loans and provide necessary release documents to borrowers or loan assistants as required. Review data for CRA Community Development consideration and submit it to Compliance Officer as needed. Review all Adjustable-Rate Loan notices relating to consumer and commercial loans for accuracy. Make any necessary updates or corrections and mail to borrowers. Scan documents to the imaging system and set tracking as needed. Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.  WORKING CONDITIONS: Air-conditioned office environment. Consistent and timely attendance is required to ensure uninterrupted operational efficiency and exemplary service delivery.  PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Sit for extended periods of time. Walk, stand, bend, squat, twist, and reach. Simple grasping and fine manipulation. Extended keyboarding. QualificationsMINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: High School Diploma or equivalent. At least two year of relevant experience. Strong communication (verbal/written), analytical, organizational, and presentation skills. Ability to interact with other departments and interdepartmental to accomplish objectives.  PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS: Proficient in Microsoft Office products, emphasizing Excel, and Adobe, a plus.
