RESPONSIBILITIES

  • The RN assists physician in the care and teaching of patients. (Radiation Oncology Division)  

  • Customer Service/Patient Assistance   System & Documentation  

  • Telephone Triage

QUALIFICATIONS

  • A valid Florida RN license is required.  

  • Current CPR certification are required. (AHA preferred)

  • BLS required upon hire or must be obtained within 30 days of employment (FCS will provide BLS course within first 30 days).

  • Experience in radiation therapy preferred.  

  • Experience with hematology/oncology /radiation oncology patients in a clinic or hospital is preferred.   

  • Ability to assess patient needs and condition is essential. 

  • Must have strong critical thinking skills, as well as the ability to react calmly and effectively in emergency situations.    

  • Fluency in the English language

  • excellent oral, written communication AND computer skills is required.   

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Word, Excel, Power Point, and Outlook required. 

  • Strong EMR skills needed.
