Position Summary

As a Behavior Technician (BT), you will work directly with children using evidence-based Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) techniques and positive reinforcement. You’ll help build communication, social, play, daily living, and pre-academic skills in home, school, and community settings playing a direct role in each child’s success.


Key Responsibilities

  • Implement 1:1 ABA intervention programs in home, school, or community settings
  • Observe, collect, and record data on client behavior
  • Teach skills outlined in individualized treatment plans
  • Participate in regular supervision with a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
  • Maintain professional boundaries and clear communication with families and team members
  • Proficient in timely and accurate data collection on tablet or computer.


Requirements

  • At least 18 years of age
  • High school diploma or equivalent required 
  • Patience, energy, and a genuine interest in working with children
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team
  • Availability for a minimum of 10 hours per week
  • Ability to lift up to 40lbs and actively participate in play (running, kneeling, crawling, standing)
  • Adherence to RBT Ethics Code and company policies
  • Clean background check and positive professional references


Pay Range

  • $19.50/hour as a BT
  • $20.50/hour - $25.99/hour, based on years of experience as an RBT.
  • Note: This rate includes a geographic pay differential based on the cost of living in this job location.
