Position: Full-time Pay: Hourly, $17.00-$22.00 (based on experience)   Job purpose The Shop Utility position supports shop operations by performing entry-level maintenance and facility tasks to improve technician efficiency and overall shop productivity. Duties and responsibilities Maintain shop cleanliness, including sweeping and general upkeep of work areas using appropriate equipment Run for parts and assist with driver transportation (following drivers, pickups, and rides as needed) Assist with tire removal and installation Operate torches as needed (cutting/removal support) Perform basic mechanical repairs, including hose replacement, valve replacement, brakes, and other bolt-on components Perform preventative maintenance tasks, including lube, oil, and filter services on power units Assist with tractor detailing and general equipment cleaning as needed Maintain regular attendance and punctuality   QualificationsQualifications Must pass an MVR report Basic computer skills Forklift operating experience or ability to learn Ability to use metal cutting tools Strong time management skills Ability to multitask Self-motivated Ability to work independently Must pass a post-offer, pre-employment drug test and comply with the company’s drug-free workplace policy Safety in the Workplace Employees should take reasonable care of their health and safety no matter where they are or what they are doing.
