Job DetailsJob Location: Bryan, OH 43506POSITION NOTICE     Position Title: Art Facilitator – Trinity Place    Reports to: Adult Day Services Supervisor   Hours: 40 hours per week. Occasional weekend and evenings outside of regular hours will be required.    Job Summary:   Filling Homes is a social ministry that provides a full range of services for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities.  Trinity Place is a community based art program and adult day program in Bryan, Ohio. We are currently seeking a creative and energetic person with a background in the creative arts who also has a commitment to providing quality life experiences for people with disabilities. Responsibilities:  Assist in the design and implementation of creative art activities that meet the needs of the persons that are enrolled in our day program. Provide one-one-one and small group instruction in a variety of creative art mediums at the studio.  Assist participants to discover their art interests and abilities.  Utilize technology and adaptive equipment to support and enhance the creativity of the artists and increase independence of each person. Assist as needed in meeting the personal needs and daily living skills of individuals receiving art services. Helping artists envision new projects and assisting in learning new techniques. Assist with creating community connections for the artists to share their art in the community Qualifications  Must have a high school diploma or GED. A degree in fine art or a minimum of two years of experience in applied Fine Arts. Must be willing to work with community members and businesses to develop community connections for artistis. Must have demonstrated ability to teach art to others Must be able to relate well with people with disabilities.
