Main Responsibilities:

Responsible for implementing projects to improve key processes with high impact on savings and efficiency improvements in the company.
Establish measurement systems and data collection plans to ensure reliable, actionable performance data is available.
Evaluate process flows, material handling, and facility layout for waste elimination and ergonomic improvement opportunities.
Track, validate, and report CI project results including cost savings, productivity improvements, quality gains, and safety enhancements.
Audit processes and take actions to improve them.
Develop strategies or projects aim increasing the overall equipment efficiency.
Drive a culture of accountability, operational excellence, and continuous improvement on the shop floor.
Perform advanced Root Cause Analysis using methodologies such as 5 Whys, Fishbone, FMEA, Pareto, and DMAIC.
Apply Six Sigma DMAIC methodology to resolve chronic quality problems and process capability issues.
Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred (Industrial Engineering, Business, Operations, Quality, or related field).
2+ years of experience in manufacturing/industrial operations with demonstrated continuous improvement involvement (steel/metals manufacturing preferred).
Working knowledge of Lean principles and problem-solving tools (A3, 5-Why, 8D, Fishbone, basic statistics).
Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word); ability to build trackers, charts, and presentations for leadership and shop-floor teams.
Strong facilitation, communication, and organizational skills; ability to influence without authority and work effectively across departments.
Lean certification (Yellow/Green Belt) or equivalent training is preferred.
