This role is responsible for leading sales personnel, managing inventory and sales processes, supporting dealership growth initiatives, and promoting a professional and hospitality-driven customer experience aligned with organizational goals and values. Job Description: Sales Leadership & Team Development Lead, coach, train, motivate, and support sales personnel and sales department operations. Monitor salesperson productivity, performance, and operational effectiveness. Support staffing, onboarding, training, coaching, and employee development initiatives within the sales department. Establish and communicate departmental expectations, sales objectives, and operational standards. Foster a collaborative, accountable, and performance-oriented sales environment. Sales Operations & Inventory Management Support achievement of dealership goals related to unit sales, gross profit, expenses, and operational performance. Monitor sales activities, customer engagement, lead management, and showroom operations. Coordinate vehicle inventory acquisition, merchandising, display, and presentation standards for new and used vehicles. Support administration of manufacturer-sponsored programs, dealership incentives, and operational sales initiatives. Review market analysis, sales reporting, and customer trends to support dealership growth strategies and sales campaigns. Customer Experience & Interdepartmental Coordination Promote a hospitality-driven customer experience centered on trust, responsiveness, professionalism, and long-term relationship development. Assist customers and sales personnel throughout the vehicle purchasing process as needed. Address escalated customer concerns professionally and timely in accordance with dealership standards. Serve as a liaison between the sales department and other dealership departments to support operational alignment and customer satisfaction. Support customer follow-up initiatives, owner events, and retention programs as assigned. Financial Performance & Operational Oversight Monitor departmental expenditures and operational activities to support dealership profitability and budget expectations. Assist leadership with operational reporting, forecasting, and sales performance analysis. Support CRM usage, lead management processes, and operational reporting consistency throughout the department. Maintain organized workflows and operational accountability within the sales department. Participate in leadership meetings, operational discussions, and dealership planning initiatives. Professional Standards & Compliance Ensure adherence to dealership policies, manufacturer requirements, and applicable federal, state, and local regulations. Support ethical business practices and professional workplace conduct. Maintain a professional appearance, positive attitude, and strong attendance record.
