Description & Interest

In the fast-paced environment of a technical support engineer, you will face new challenges daily in terms of developing relationships with clients, solving technical process issues, teaching training classes, and ensuring that customers are receiving the most value from working with BR&E.


Responsibilities

  • Help clients in the oil, gas, refining, petrochemicals, and chemicals industry diagnose and solve process-related problems
  • Provide high level support for the process simulation software, ProMax®
  • Diagnose and solve process and computer problems
  • Provide training/instruction for ProMax® worldwide
  • Develop and maintain training materials
  • Develop web-based training tutorials


Requirements

  • Capacity to tackle multiple assignments simultaneously with minimal supervision
  • Competence with Microsoft Office products, particularly Excel and Visio
  • Some knowledge of oil and gas process simulation
  • Able to speak effectively to individuals and large groups
  • Must be self-motivated and have the ability to work independently
